Mount Rainier National Park


Mount Rainier National Park has six auto campgrounds providing almost 600 sites. These campgrounds are all open for your stay by no later than the end of June, and through no earlier than mid-September. Only one campground, Sunshine Point, is open for auto camping all year. The other five campgrounds close in September and October, depending on weather. Sites at two of the campgrounds, Cougar Rock and Ohanapecosh, are issued by reservation only from July 1 through Labor Day.



Ipsut Creek Campground

Tent and RV's. Road rough, trailers not recommended.

Facilities: Tables and vault toilets. No potable water.
