Rocky Mountain National Park
There are 5 campgrounds with a total of 577 sites. Longs Peak, Aspenglen, and Timber Creek Campgrounds are first-come, first-served, while Moraine Park and Glacier Basin are reservation campgrounds (call Biospherics at (800)365-2267). Group sites are available at Glacier Basin. Permits are required for all overnight stays in the backcountry, including bivouacs; reservations are recommended. There are 269 designated backcountry sites.
