Permits
Firewood permits are issued to individuals for private use. If planning to sell mushrooms/berries/seedlings gathered from the Forest, must obtain a commercial gathering permit from the local Forest Service office.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The Forest is divided into five administrative units with Ranger District headquarters in Missoula, Seeley Lake, Ninemile (located near Frenchtown), Superior, and Plains.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: Food and supplies are available throughout the entirety of the Lolo National Forest and its surrounding communities.
