Permits
Climbing Permit required: $15 per person, per climb (also serves as Wilderness Camping Permit). Free Wilderness Camping Permit required. Issued in-person only, at Wilderness Info. Centers (Longmire, White River, Wilkeson) and Paradise Ranger Station.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: There are several information stations throughout the park: Longmire Wilderness Information Center (Longmire); Jackson Visitor Center (Paradise); Paradise Ranger Station (Paradise); Ohanapecosh Visitor Center (Ohanapecosh); White River Wilderness Information Center (White River); Sunrise Visitor Center (Sunrise); Wilkeson Ranger Station (Sunrise).

Programs: During the summer, enjoy ranger-led nature programs, evening programs at campgrounds, childrens' programs, and guided walks. During the winter months, guided snowshoe walks are conducted in the Paradise area on weekends.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: There are dining rooms or snack bars at the National Park Inn at Longmire, the Paradise Inn (summer only), the Jackson Visitor Center at Paradise (limited hours in winter), and the Sunrise Lodge (summer only). Limited camper supplies are available at the National Park Inn at Longmire, Sunrise Lodge, and in the communities surrounding the park.

Concessions: The Northwest Interpretive Association offers publications, maps, slides, posters, videos, and other informational materials at the Park Store. Call 360-569-2211, ext. 3320#.
