Camping in undeveloped areas may be allowed, depending on conditions. Permits are required and can be obtained from the ranger at Josephine Falls. Camping is not permitted in the vicinity of any developed areas, including the Josephine Falls picnic area. Backcountry hikers must check in and out with the ranger at Josephine Falls.
