Permits
There is no camping in any Irish National Park. Hikers should check with the visitor center for current public access maps and information.
Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The National Park Visitor Centre is open daily 13 March-7 November, and offers interpretive exhibits, an audiovisual presentation, and visitor information, and is located at Glenveagh Castle.
Programs: There are self-guided trails, ranger-led walks in season, and the 25-minute audiovisual presentation "Glenveagh."
Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: There is a restaurant at the visitor centre, open all season, and a castle tearoom open Easter and late May-September.
Visitor Impact
No cameras are permitted on the Glenveagh Castle tour.
