Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: There is a Nature Center which offers exhibits relating to the wildlife of the park.

Programs: Park naturalists offer programs at the Nature Center. At the Farm Center, visitors can walk down farm lanes and view the animals and other sights, activity, and smells of the barn, the poultry house, and the pasture. Hayrides/sleigh rides are offered on weekends. Group charters are available.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: The turn-of-the-century farm house has sandwiches, soft drinks, and ice cream.

Concessions: A 6,378-yard 18-hole par 71 public golf course is available. Power cars and hand carts are available. The Island Queen, a 66-passenger Sternwheeler, makes hourly trips every day during the summer months.

Visitor Impact

Additional Information
A Metropark Boat Permit is required for boating on Kent Lake. Tobogganing and sledding are available in the winter, with central parking at the Orchard Picnic Area.
