Alpine
The Alpine Visitor Center is open from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October.

Permit Information
During the summer months, backcountry permits ($15) can be obtained from the Headquarters Backcountry Office or at the Kawuneeche Visitor Center. Reservations are recommended, and can be made at (970)586-1242.

During the winter months you can self-register at the Fall River Entrance Station.

Directions
From Estes Park, drive west on Highway 34, which eventually turns into Trail Ridge Road. Keep driving until you reach the Alpine Visitor Center.

Information Center
The Alpine Visitor Center is located on Trail Ridge Road near the Fall River Pass, at an elevation of 11,796 feet.
