Moose
Here you will get a good look at the mighty Snake River, where outfitters congregate to lead visitors on rafting trips. You can also find climbing and mountaineering guides at Moose.

Permit Information
Overnight stays require a free backcountry permit from the Moose Ranger Station. Reservations may be made in advance for $15.

Directions
Moose is the southern entrance to Grand Teton NP, and is reached by the road from Jackson.

Information Center
The Moose Visitor Center features exhibits on the Greater Yellowstone Area and rare and endangered species, a video room, and an extensive selection of books.
