Jenny Lake
Glacier-carved Jenny Lake lies nestled at the base of the tallest Teton peaks. It is encircled by a 6-mile hiking trail. Shuttle boats (in season) provide easy access to the west shore of the lake and trailheads for Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point, and Cascade Canyon. This area provides numerous hiking, climbing and mountaineering opportunities.



Permit Information
Obtain your free backcountry permit for overnight stays at the Jenny Lake Ranger Station. Reservations may be made in advance for a $15 fee.

Directions
Jenny Lake is located 8 miles north of Moose and 12 miles south of Jackson Lake Junction.

Information Center
Jenny Lake Visitor Center is located at the south end of Jenny Lake. It features exhibits on geology, a topographic relief model, and books on the area.
