Glidden Ranger District
There are five campgrounds on the Glidden Ranger District. The largest is Day Lake, which has 66 campsites and offers a developed boar launch, two accessible fishing piers, an interpretive trail, swimming beach, group play area with swings and action center, picnic area, and several primitive walk-in campsites. In addition, there are 6 campsites that are accessible to persons with disabilities, with paved roads, parking spur, campsites, and trails. Each campsite also has accessible picnic tables and grills and access to an accessible fishing pier.
Permit Information
No permit needed, but backcountry campers must camp at least 50 feet away from any trail or water's edge.
