Saguaro West
Located south of Saguaro West, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum features a live collection of about 200 desert animals and 300 kinds of plants. Also to the south of this unit of the park is the Tucson Mountain County Park, which has hiking and horse trails and a campground.

Camping is not permitted in this region of the park.

Information Center
The Red Hills Visitor Center has exhibits, audio visual programs, brochures, books, maps, trail and drive guides, and rangers on hand to answer questions.
