Featuring rolling hills, a quiet inland lake, and hundreds of acres of woods, Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area offers a northern Michigan atmosphere in southeast Michigan. The park provides outlets for many types of recreation, including hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing.

The park consists of 723 acres, with 80-acre Lake Minnewanna in the center.
