Expect a moderate climate with warm days and cool evenings in the summer. Winter temperatures can be much cooler, with 2 or 3 light snow storms per year. The rainy season is generally from November through mid-March, with the summer drought typical of the California climate. Because summers are generally hot and dry, some visitors prefer the spring and fall seasons.
