Days 1-2: We'll shuttle to Cedar Breaks National Monument, then head out on our bikes. We'll spin through the canyon, past placid lakes and flowered meadows towards Bryce Canyon. In the afternoon, we?ll dive into the canyon feet first as we hike amongst rock spires. Wallstreet and the Queen?s Garden are just a couple of the amazing geological formations that highlight our hike. Day two we start of on an exhilarating hike on the Fairyland Loop Trail, one of the most beautiful hikes in Bryce Canyon. In the afternoon, we will take a short van ride to Rainbow Point for a breathtaking view of the canyon. Now it is time to mount our bikes for a scenic ride back to the lodge.
Day 3: Today we?ll load up in the van a head into the Grand Staircase of Escalante. We'll hike to the beautiful Lower Calf Creek Falls. This afternoon we will saddle up to see the country as Butch Cassidy once did.
Days 4-6: Capitol Reef. It?s time to bike the challenging, yet beautiful Burr Trail through Long Canyon. After a picnic lunch and a short shuttle we will take in a bit of history at the Anasazi Ruins. This afternoon we will travel into Capitol Reef National Park. As we go through the historic townsite of Fruita we will stop for a quick taste from one of its many orchards. Then a hike to the Hickman Bridge awaits us. Day five will start with a bike ride through Capitol Reef National Park into Capitol Gorge, where we will bike past towering red rock walls and beautiful desert meadows. In Capitol Gorge we will continue exploring by foot as we hike what was once the pioneers? trail through Capitol Reef up to 'the tanks.' After a picnic lunch in Capitol Gorge, we will enjoy an afternoon of hiking through deep narrow canyons of ancient multicolored rock layers and to the top of an enormous red rock arch named for Butch Cassidy. On our final morning you can relax at the lodge, hike along the red rock cliffs, or take a short spin on your bike.
